The opposition launched the www.tumechoka.com through which Kenyans have been asked to register their petitions to delegitimise the current administration Raila Odinga and his faction accuse President William Ruto of forcing a punitive tax regime and other unpleasant policies on Kenyans According to him, over 1.2 million Kenyans had logged on to the digital platform to back the anti-Ruto petition Kenya’s opposition leader reveals that by noon of Tuesday, July 11, over 1.2 million Kenyans had already logged on to the newly launched tumechoka.com platform to back the petition to delegitimise President William Ruto’s administration.
Raila said the move to get over 10 million signatures from Kenyans was informed by the current administration’s new tax regime and other supposed punitive policies the government has been formulating. “I want to announce that the platform is now up and running and any Kenyan wherever they are can go to access it,” he said.
