2024 has been one of those years to remember forever for Ugandan reality TV star Deborah Nantongo a.k.a Mami Deb.
A major role in the Kampala Creme reality TV show, a glamorous wedding in the Maldives, and continued endorsement contracts with top global brands, among several other things have stood out for her.
She spoke to Mbu about some of her major achievements this year and what she manifests for 2025:
Why do you consider 2024 the best year of your life?
It’s because everything I ever manifested or prayed for came to life in 2024.
What do you highlight as the major 5 achievements for you this year?
- Paying respect to our parents by doing the marital functions the proper way in Uganda and the wedding.
- Buying our forever home. Finally owning a home in Uganda was such a beautiful thing.
- Kampala Creme doing really well even on Showmax because it is the biggest platform I have been on. That was huge.
- 2024 marked the start for me getting major brand endorsement deals. Finally being able to make money off social media beyond just the content is also a good thing.
- Expanding our farm and getting my beautiful car cannot be missed on this list. This year was a busy one!
What are your expectations for the next year?
Well, hopefully for my businesses to grow. I also want to do a larger reality show outside of Uganda and then maybe start thinking of having more children.
I will also be pursuing my show; “Let’s Talk With Mami Deb” on a bigger platform.
